A basilica above Odzun
Odzun Church is among the best-known early-medieval monuments of Lori, standing on a high plateau above the Debed gorge in the village of the same name. Built of warm pink and grey stone, it is a domed basilica whose dignified proportions and arched galleries have made it a touchstone of classical Armenian architecture. It is listed as a monument of Armenia's cultural heritage.
