Kusants Monastery is one of the Armenian Christian monuments of the Republic of Artsakh. Its name echoes the tradition of female monastic communities — in Armenian, "kusan" means "maiden, nun." Surrounded by mountain slopes, the monastery stands far from noisy roads, and it is precisely this seclusion that makes it special.
